Here’s where Askr is today, what we’re working on next, and where we’re headed. The order within each section is rough, and priorities shift as we hear from the people using Askr.

These are live today. They’re the foundation everything else builds on: every model, funded in crypto, billed only for what you use.

Every major model

Chat, image and video models available through one interface, so you can pick the best one for each task without a separate account for each provider.

Crypto top-ups

Fund your balance with USDT, BTC, ETH or SOL, straight from your wallet, with the balance held in USDT so its value stays steady.

Pay-per-use billing

A transparent credit balance with itemised usage, so every request shows its price up front and its exact cost afterwards.

Developer API

An OpenAI-compatible API, so existing code and tools work by changing a base URL and a key, with every modality behind one endpoint.

Next

What we’re actively working on. These make Askr easier to reach, faster to keep current, and ready for more than one person at a time.
  • Mobile apps. Askr on iOS and Android, so you can chat, generate and check your balance from your phone, not just the browser. This makes pay-per-use AI something you can reach for anywhere.
  • More models. New models added as they launch, often the same day. The whole point of a neutral layer is that you never have to wait for a provider to catch up, so keeping the catalogue current is a constant priority.
  • Playground upgrades. Richer image and video tools in the workspace, with more controls for size, style and iteration, so more of the creative work can happen without touching the API.
  • Team accounts. Shared balances and usage across a team, so a group can fund one place, see who spent what, and avoid juggling separate personal plans.
  • Expanded payment options. Apple Pay and Google Pay, alongside crypto and card, so funding your balance is as easy as any app. The more ways there are to top up in a couple of taps, the less friction there is between deciding to use Askr and actually running something.

Further out, but where we’re headed. These deepen the model and reward the people who use Askr most.
  • The Askr token. A token for the community, where holding it unlocks benefits such as discounted credit and more. It’s how the people who rely on Askr can share in it. See the Askr Token page for what we’re exploring.
  • Auto top-up. Optionally refill your balance when it runs low, so long jobs and production workloads never stop mid-task for want of credit.
  • Deeper integrations. Connect Askr to the tools you already use, so the same balance can power AI features inside your existing workflow rather than a separate tab.
