# Askr Token

Askr is crypto native at its core: you already fund your balance with crypto and
hold it in USDT. The Askr Token is the next step, a way for the people who use
Askr most to share in it and get more out of it.

## Perks of holding Askr

We're designing the token so that holding it makes Askr better to use. The perks
we're exploring include:

## Timing

The token sits in the **Later** column of our [roadmap](/about/roadmap). We'll
share concrete details, including supply, mechanics and how to take part, closer
to launch. Until then, the list above is a direction, not a final set of
benefits.
